Join us on Wednesday, June 28, at 2:oo PM EDT for a free webcast with Professor Mark H. Moore of the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard Kennedy School. Professor Moore, the Hauser Professor of Nonprofit Organizations, is a groundbreaking thought leader in the field of public management.

In this one-hour discussion, Professor Moore will review and elucidate the key concepts of public value theory with particular emphasis on how these ideas could help government strengthen its relationships with individuals throughout society. You will gain insight into the variety of roles that individuals play as authorizers, beneficiaries, “obligatees,” co-producers, and ultimate arbiters of governmental action. The combination of perspective-taking and big-picture strategic thinking will spark new ideas about how government might best connect with individuals and realize its promise to be a government “of, by, and for the people.”

This webinar foreshadows upcoming executive forums in Washington, D.C., where executive education alumni and others will have further opportunity to learn about—and practice applying—the public value framework.

At the conclusion of Professor Moore’s discussion, the moderator will accept questions from the participants.
