Q: How can I stay in touch with my classmates and with the HKS community?
A: Executive Education has a Facebook and a Twitter page. You can also keep up with Harvard Kennedy School by visiting their many faculty and program blogs and RSS feeds. A list of all HKS social media resources can be found at http://www.hks.harvard.edu/news-events/social-media
Q: Where can I update my contact information?
A: Your home and business contact information is updated in the Executive Education database. Please forward any contact information and work updates to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: I am applying for a new job or academic program and they have requested my transcripts. Where can I get attendance verification documentation?
A: We are happy to supply an official letter verifying your completion of the Executive Education program that you attended. All attendance verification requests should be sent to via email to email@example.com.
Q: How can I find out about events at HKS or events in my area?
A: Visit the HKS Regional Associations webpage for a listing of existing associations.
The Institute of Politics website - also contains information on Forum events at the School.
Periodically, Executive Education representatives organize Alumni Receptions throughout the U.S. and abroad. You will receive an electronic invitation to any event that is in your region.
Q: Can I hire an HKS student as a summer intern? How do I get more information about this opportunity?
A: The Office of Career Advancement (OCA) can assist with summer internship placements. Visit the website or call the main number to speak with an OCA representative (617-495-1161).
Q: What is the Policy Analysis Exercise (PAE) program? How can I become a (PAE) client?
A: Information about the PAE program, including how to become a client, can be found at: http://www.hks.harvard.edu/degrees/oca/students-alumni/pae.
Q: What HKS Publications will I have access to?
A: As a member of the HKS Executive Education alumni community, you may access several online publications, including the HKS Magazine, the IMPACT newsletter, research center newsletters and a variety of news articles, commentaries and faculty and student research at: http://www.hks.harvard.edu/news-events/publications.
HKS Executive Education is also working to revamp and re-launch a quarterly Executive Education eNewsletter that we hope to begin sharing with EE alumni in the next six months.
Q: How can I submit a classnote for the HKS Magazine?
A: We are happy to publish news and announcements of both a professional and personal nature. Please submit your updates via email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Your note may be edited before publication. Please include the following information in classnote submissions:
• Complete Name
• HKS Degree and Class Year or Exec Ed Program & Year
• Email Address
• Phone #
• Classnote - not to exceed 100 words
Q: Can I submit updates that are longer than 150 words?
A: Yes! The Alumni Relations Office encourages Executive Education Alumni to submit personal essays, “from the field.” These essays may be published in a variety of media, including the HKS Magazine and the HKS Alumni website. Contact the Alumni Relations Office at email@example.com with your essay ideas.
Q: What about Alumni Spotlights? How do I nominate a classmate to be featured in a spotlight story?
A: Spotlight stories are a fantastic way to share the important work of alumni with the HKS Community, but we can’t share these stories if we don’t know about them! The Alumni Relations Office welcomes any and all Alumni Spotlight suggestions. Send us information about yourself or fellow alumni who are making an impact. Contact the Alumni Relations Office with Spotlight suggestions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: What resources are available to me on the HKS Website?
A: You can access HKS News & Events online at www.hks.harvard.edu. Watch forum events LIVE, view an archive of past Forum events, subscribe to HKS RSS news feeds, and read about the latest research being done at HKS Research Centers.
Q: How can I make a donation to HKS?
A: There are many ways to give back to Harvard Kennedy School. You can become a Littauer Society Member, send a donation to the Dean’s Fund, and contribute to your graduating class gift or your reunion class gift.
